Coaching

I occasionally coach students on college applications, primarily during the summer and around studio commitments. The work is identifying what is already present in a student’s story and helping them communicate it clearly.

As a first-generation student who later worked in admissions at Johns Hopkins and Howard, I have seen how opaque the process can be from both sides. I take on a small number of students when time allows.
